… I love that book btw… I identify with the character Estella on many levels… But anyway… I am not really that big of a fan of romantic comedies… HOWEVER, there are a few moments in a few films that invoke a *girly sigh* from me… Now those that know me know that I LOATHE the film Pretty Woman… I like my romance to be ridiculously unattainable, or realistic… and that film was neither. But anywho, the scene that I did like from the film was when Richard Gere had Julia Roberts’ outfit laid out for her on the bed… Shoes and all…. Now, this can be seen as pseudo controlling in a “I like this and this is what I want to see you in” type deal… But I think I would like it if the guy took the time and effort to pick out an outfit that he liked and wanted to see me in… Keeping in mind what I like as well; presented it to me… and then took me somewhere nice. I know I know… such things only happen in the realm of the romantic comedy… But one can dream… :)
