The holy grail is to spend less time making the picture than it takes people to look at it. (c) Banksy

So I am mildly obsessed with Edgar Mueller... For those that don't know he is a 3D street artist and I have been following him for YEARS! I was very surprised when I realized that I had never posted about him... Anywho, here is some of his amazing pieces of his artwork

Watch him work...

If you ask me I'm ready... (c) Alicia Keys

In fact... I've BEEN READY for my dearest friend Abu to start up his blog... He has done several posts on HurtMEEZYSoul that several people have hit me up about... Well, lucky for you he is doin his own thing and you will be blessed with his coonerific intellectualisms on the regular... I will keep you abreast of when the site launches... but for now just enjoy the sweetness that is the blog's header :)

“I think we're losing our sense of humor instead of being able to relax and laugh at ourselves... (c) Betty White

...I don't care whether it's ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, or whose ox is being gored.”

If you missed Betty White on SNL check it out below... This was the best show that SNL has had in IONS!

*sidenote* Am I the only one obsessed with SNL photo's? I really need to know the photographers name because I think he/she can make me look beautiwonderlous lol.

SEASON 3 of The Boondocks debuted last night and twitter was POPPIN! I had to watch it twice because I was so busy tweeting that I missed the satirical subtleties that makes The Boondocks so prolific... I was more than pleased with the season debut and I can't wait for more... I'm like a FIEND! What makes The Boondocks so ingenious is that even the people that the show pokes fun of are fans of it... I hope that it forces some of those people to look at themselves critically... That would be pretty sweet! Lol.

Back in the day/when I was young I'm not a kid anymore...

...But some days, I sit and wish I were a kid again (c) Ahmad

So, I've wanted these shoes ever since I was in the 6th grade... My Mom was not having it! These and the North Carolina Blue and White 11's are the only two pair of shoes that I really regret not having in my childhood (I'm a spoiled brat, so SUE ME! :-p). So, I was truly excited about the retro... HOWEVER, I just really want the original! :(. Check out the difference below

Original...

Retro...

I don't like that the Retro's have replaced the Air Diamond Turf logo with a 2010...BUT, I saw THESE on ebay... So I might have to get the '05 retro for $65 bucks... You can't beat that I guess... Meanwhile, I'll just pray that Nike releases the originals :(

...For those that do want the retro Nike Air Diamond Turf's... they should be dropping sometime in June :)

Blazing Saddles (c) Mel Brooks

So I saw these saddles on my way to work walking to the Blue Line (the Damen stop), and I couldn't help but snap a pic... Aren't they just beautiful?

I liked these yellow brogue's as well... But I hear the paint chips pretty bad on them so that's a bummer :(

If you want either then make your way to City Soles/Niche... *Warning* the footwear there is NOT cheap, but they do have a layaway plan for you ballers on a budget... lol

My saddles :)

If you’re enough lucky to be Irish, you’re lucky enough! (c) Irish Song

Well, these surfaced overseas a few days after St. Patty's Day... So maybe they're Celtic's inspired? Hmmm, anyway, I love green so I'm down... Those that know me know that I'm not particularly an avid fan of dunks. In fact, I only have three pair... Nike has been rather uncreative and dull with the colorways for the past few years... But me likey these! :)
